Question
Does anyone use WhozOnTop? I swear they used to provide page rankings, so you could tell easily if you'd moved from #2 to page 4 or whatever. Now it looks like all they do is provide hit counts. Am I dreaming?
Answer
Sorry you were dreaming. I use them for all my websites.

Answer
Mel!
I don't use "whozontop", but I do use Google:

Just type in one of your keywords at a time, and you'll see where you 'rank' at Google.
Answer
Here's where I track all my keywords on Google, Yahoo and MSN all at same time. The best part is it's FREE. I have 5 accounts and track a whole bunch of keywords. Below is a screen shot of one of mine. N/A means its not in the top 200. Really anything past 10 is not good. You should always shoot for page 1 (1-10).

Answer
Yup Mike, that's what I was thinking of. I had a serious brain cramp this morning and was thinking it was WhozOnTop....
I've used Digital Point for quite a while - it's depressing to see where I've fallen in the past 12 months.
Answer
I know I remember you having good SERPS. It has to be those URL's. I just don't remember they being like that when we started. Something has had to change.

Answer
Truly, nothing has changed. I've been with FreeMerchant since 2001 and those URL's have always been like that.
I called them the other night to talk about my inability to load .xml files to my site. The kid who answered was quite frank about all the customers who are raising he** about their Google rankings collapsing. Their developers are "looking into it".
On a happier note, a slightly disgruntled FreeMerchant customer has written a Froogle Feeder. God Bless Him! I'm getting ready to run it right now.
Answer
The best thing they could do is make the URL's static. As for Froogle it's better than nothing. It's sorta like listing on Yahoo instead of Ebay. I gave up on Froogle maybe year ago. The sales didn't make up for the work involved but in your case Froogle is better than nothing.
