Question
Anyone want to join with me to figure this sucker out?

Looks like it might be beneficial. I've figured out where to get my sitemap generated, but don't know if I can "load" an .xml site to my site, due to the type of host where my store lives.
Answer
I'm available for assistance.
I've been uploading 2 of my sites for a few months now.
Took me FOREVER to figure out how to upload the d*** thing, but I finally got it - luck of the dumb newbie.
I'm logging off for the night, but will be back in the a.m.
Available via all emails or PMs.

Answer
Melbay, this thread discusses the same thing.
If that doesn't help I'll bet Mike (Cobaltlady) could answer your question about loading .xml to your site.

Answer
You have to have the ability to upload single files to your host. I use FTP. The file is available to Google but not any use to anyone else. I can do a quick instruction page if someone needs it. This tool is great for sites that have not been indexed or sites that are having trouble getting secondary pages indexed.

I'm with you Craftworks. I just don't get it, and I'm no tech dummy.
If someone has been successful with Google's sitemaps, could you please provide us with some simple instructions?
Thanks!
