Here's a list of Blog Directories you can use to ping your blog to them. You can do it manually by accessing their websites and finding the page where you can submit your url. (or) If you're using a blog software, you should have a place to plug in the urls you want to ping.

Wow QJ, that's some list, thanks for posting it!
I am on my way out right now but I wanna have a look at these later, and hopefully can add a few to our resource page (STILL working on it, people I've not forgotten!) once I go through them and see what's what. You posted in the perfect place
There's another thread on blogs up top right now, I wanna touch on that later too, but I'm glad to see people talking them up, from a biz-standpoint and not just as journals or news-sources.

Also, I use www.pingomatic.com to ping my blog everytime I post to it. One form submits to about 12-15 services. It is my understanding that "pinging" your blog tells the blog "search engines" that you have added content and for them to come index it.
