Question
We have had a store at Zoovy for ages but they are drastically increasing fees, so we are working on a different kind of platform... I've only been at it for two days, and it's missing some key elements, but I wanted to see what you all thought of the overall layout... My kids like the old layout better. But they can't seem to come up with a sensible reason why.

Just my humble opinion, but I like the new one much better. It seems much cleaner, easier to get around and overall more "elegant".

The Existing store is hard for me to read with all the orange.
As for the layout I like the new one better also.

OK, I will proceed full steam on the new site, and try not to uglify it in the process!
I like the features (such as customer reviews and timed specials), and the layout too, just wish the PHP stuff was easier to figure out.

I like the osCommerce better. In case you didn't know, you can go to their forums and get help with just about anything.

The Zoovy store looks better. It also is search engine friendly out of the box. Unless you know how to build your own sites to be search engine friendly, you're better off with Zoovy. All the referral traffic you had with them will be gone. I don't know if you had your own domain or not, but yourstore.zoovy.com is never a good idea.
