Question
This is my first post here. I was sent here by Mimi to get help.
I am just about ready to send my website live and I desperately need a keyword rich main page. The website name is my own name so there's no help there for search engines.
Here's what I have so far but I think it's weak. I read some of the posts last night and did some of the keyword investigating. But I am TOTALLY illiterate when it comes to all this computer stuff (had website built) so please be gentle with me and please help. I feel rather "lost in space"!
"We are constantly hunting for antiques and collectibles including stoneware crocks, Roseville and Weller pottery, Nippon and RS Prussia porcelain, collectible Fenton glass and primitives. The next auction may have old crock, a lovely piece of Nippon or a stunning piece of Fenton Art glass. We are "on the hunt" every weekend so we can bring more treasure to you.
We have been selling antiques and collectibles for a number of years and online for nearly 5 years. We travel several states and attend about 200 auctions/estate sales per year. Oft times our hunt finds many other unique items that you will see listed here so please bookmark our site so you can check back often to see the latest treasure!"

joflora It's hard to say anything without actually seeing the site. There is so much more to check than just the text. If you want you can contact me by private message, email or my preferred method yahoo messenger (mandm50s). It is very important to be sure your site is ready before going "live" and when I say live I mean having links to your site or being submitted to the search engines so the search engines index your site.

Mike, that was my first post as I mentioned and now I see no place to PM you and unfortunately I don't have Yahoo, I have MSN. I also don't see a place to email you. Sorry. I'm trying to learn about this site as I go...the way I seem to do most things. Dive in face first and figure out how to swim when I'm in the water.
