Question
Hello Friends
Recently downloaded and installed SA Pro and am needing assistance in developing the templates with my own branding and pictures. If this is not the best location to post, please let me know.
I am looking for a tutorial or one on one assistance with getting started. I currently have templates through Andale but am looking to make the move to a pure eBay Management operation. SA Pro has the goods but the template setup and design is vague. The questions I have are:
How do I modify the default templates with my own branding and structure?
Odds are once I learn how to get started the second question will answer itself but,
How can I insert my web hosted pics into the templates?
Thanks for your time.

Answer
I haven't used SA pro but unless the program allows you to create a fully intergrated custom template then you have to create your own custom template and then put the entire code in the description block.
you would then add your own graphics by typing in the URL for each graphic in the area of the code that is allotted for your photos and typing in the description for the item.
There are a bunch of us on board who create custom templates but you can find some great pointers at Tozo's Mall if you want to build your own.
www.xample.net. (lots of good stuff here)
Ohhhh and here is a tutorial I created to help folks use the templates I create for them. It should give you an idea on how a custom template is used.

Hope this helps.
Answer
You can put any HTML you want in the description field.
I highly recommend posting for assistance at the SAPro discussion board...
HERE.
There are users there who have developed tutorials.
You can insert photos anywhere in your ad by using HTML. You can also use tags that will insert the photos you have listed in the picture fields into your ad.
The LISTING TEMPLATES are where you can insert some graphics and such into each auction automatically.
On most fields in the program, if you hit the Help button, it will bring up the relevant information. The help section is now quite detailed and well worth reading through.
There is a learning curve with the program, but once you get up to speed you will love it!!!
feel free to PM me with questions. Can't guarantee I will have the answer, but I have been using the program since it was just Auction Assistant.
Same goes for other users. I am strong in the general program abilities and functions, but weak in consignment, dutch auctions and anything to do with modifying the packing slip templates.
Answer
Thank-you both for your assistance. It is very appreciated.
Have a great day!
