Question
Give the recent fee hike what's your ebay store status?
Answer
I have one but I am not sure at this point what to do. Probably close it.
I know it's the price of doing business but sometimes you have to cuts costs. I do sell things out of my store but not tons.
Answer
So from everything I gather here and the ebay forums, those fee hikes are not going to hurt their bottom line at all. In fact, ebay has a hooked customer base, and now they really know it. A shrinking base sure, but a very addicted one.
Most everyone is just going to pay and pay and pay.
Answer
Have had one for three years, rolled with the punches the last fee hike, but plan to cut inventory in half and rotate items more often, to keep my costs around the same as before. Will move stuff to other venues more seller friendly until I can get my own website up and going.
Will still maintain some presence on eBay but not as large as before and use it just to drive traffic to my own site.
Answer
I voted "who cares?" because none of the choices fit my situation.
I closed when it became plain to me that my items were being hidden. When you copy & paste an exact listing title into the search box and it comes up with zero results, you know it's time to walk away. This happened over & over and enough was enough.
I'm not the least bit sorry either. While I need the income, I was NOT getting it on Ebay. The fee hikes would only have made the situation worse.
Answer
Hazel, I'm not sure how accurate your poll is because we can vote 10 times. I did vote for all that applied to me; which was 4 votes.

Hope Ebay & Yahoo circle the toilet together
Answer
Never had one. Was debating the last tiime prices whent up, and have watched mess up after mess up by ebay scince.
Answer
I'm keeping mine open ... but moving the bulk of my inventory to my own website and will use the store as advertising. Quite a few of my items are in the $400-700 range and there is no way I am paying eBay commission on those sales ... I would gladly pay if they brought in quality buyers.
