they don't understand. This isn't funny at all. There was a show like this on Dr. Phil. and there was people who were afraid of stepping out of the house. Dr phil wouldn't tell them it was ridiculous, he'd thank them for having the bravery to step out, and confront their fears. It's okay to be afriad @#!!! Those people with phobia's would get hurt by them. It can be even life threatening and if you want me to explain how then I can. This makes me mad. Booo thread starter.

Actually, I didn't find this funny at all.
I thought it was REALLY mean. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) And Maury and the audience just pokes fun at these people for their enjoyment as if they're not afraid of anything in the world. I bet you if I took something that they were afraid of, they'd scream and run just like any of those people.
If you're a afraid to pickles, you really can't go on the Maury show and not expect to be poked at. "Maury" is a show because it's entertaining. Yeah, he helps people, but you can't go on and then act surprised or upset when you're showcased for other peoples' amusement. If someone who needs help is worried about that, I'm SURE they could find some sort of person who's an actual expert in that area to help them out and save them some embarassment. To be put in short: if you don't want even more people laughing at your phobia or whatever problem you have, don't show up on popular TV programs as means of fixing it.
