I can't keep up with the confusion about what days the banks and post offices get off. Guess my mind is just too addled at the moment to make much sense out of anything. I just made online payments to a couple places (because of the possibilty of no banks or post offices being open here in Missouri). It will still take 2 to 3 business days with the online payments, but it seems faster than the "snail mail" gets it done.
I don't pay a lot of our payments online, but I'm really thinking strongly about doing it more often. It's a lot less hassle than writing a check, using a stamp and envelope and hoping the mail service doesn't lose my payments somewhere along the way.

In FL we have this bank called Bank Atlantic. Theyve vouched to be open Presidents Day. They're open on Sundays also. 2 reasons why I WONT bank with them. I Firmly believe in certain occupations have cretain days, times they should be closed. Ever since this bank has gone to be open late, holidays and on Sundays it just prove to me they are just another company who care more about making money than their dedicated employees.
