Question
I just received an email from Belgium.
I normally only sell to the US (sometimes Canada)
A few times that I did sell internationally I had problems.
I looked up the postage to Belgium
I was trying to find info on insurance.
Anyone know how that works?
Does anyone have experience shipping to Belgium?
Answer
I ship about 3 to 7 packages a week on average to International
customers. As long as they don't go Surface Mail, they arrive
quickly and with no problems.
Use the USPS rate calculator for postage rates...

A little known fact: There is INCLUDED insurance on Air Mail Parcel Post.
It depends on the postage of the package. If you ship this way, ask
the Postie for a little printout of the insurance amount.
If you buy insurance, it cancels the included insurance.
Global Priority is a good option too, if you have a item that can fit
in a Flat Rate Priority Mail envelope. Then you can send up to 4 pounds
for $9.50 or so.
I like International buyers, but I sell collectibles....
Answer
Some types of postage can have insurance, some can't. AirMail & Surface Letter (under 4 lbs.) cannot. Global Priority cannot. Air and Surface Parcel Post Can.
