Using USPS Priority mail boxes for Global Priority mail shipping?

Question
Is it legal to use USPS Priority mail boxes to ship via Global Priority mail?

Answer
I'm fairly certain it is. I recently shipped something Global Express and they had me use the regular Express forms. In fact, I'll go check, but I think on the old triangular tube Priority boxes, I think it said Global and one side of it. BRB
Sorry! I can't get to them--they're behind a huge pile of stuff in the garage. Maybe someone else will have one they can check.

Answer
Thanks for the effort. I decided to give it a try under the heading of better asking for foregivness than permission. Didn't work. The free Global Priority Mail are a different color than regular Priority Mail. I suppose they have a reason for that but the crew at the PO couldn't think of one and they are not interchangable.

Answer
They won't let us interchange them, either.
Heck, one time I had a Global Priority envelope that was being shipped internationally, and I stuck regular Priority tape over the flap, and they made me re-do it with clear tape.

Answer
nope, you have to use a Global priority package to ship global priority.
