Question
I've always used USPS SA for my labels and never had a problem until today. When I click on "Display Label" nothing happens. Is anyone else having trouble or is it just me!
Answer
When this happened to me it was when I loaded an update to Adobe and for some reason SA couldn't find Adobe any more. The way I solved the problem is to do a "Find" for SA_receipt and SA_lablel files. I then dragged a shortcut for the files to my Desktop and then drug them down into the lower tool bar (on the left). Now after I run SA and am ready to print, I just click on each icon in the little toolbar and it opens Adobe and brings up the information to print. Hope this helps.
Answer
Did you do an Adobe Reader update?
The USPS help folks told me to use a 5.??? version...and nothing newer...
Answer
I have had 6.0 for a long time now with no problems. But I also have not applied any other updates. My problem had something to do with when my computer crashed and I had to reload everything. I forgot which order to load the Adobe and the SA and apparently did it backwards so that SA couldn't find it. I think what has to happen is that the version of Adobe you want to use has to be first and then add SA so it can find it. I couldn't remember so just did the shortcuts and use them all the time. I now prefer them. It's just like clicking on the Display buttons but just clicking on the shortcuts instead. After Adobe is opened the first time it doesn't have to be reopened during the SA session.
Answer
That reminds me... 6.? worked for me too. Until I made the mistake of upgrading to 7.? (I think it was 7)
Anyhow, when I tried to go back to 6 even THAT didn't work. 5.0 still works, although occasionally I find a file elsewhere that doesn't totally display with 5. So far I've been able to live with that, due to my dependance on Shipping Asst.
Answer
Well, I don't know what it was but this morning SA worked just fine! I haven't done any updates on purpose because I remember reading about problems other folks have had. I'll just hope it continues to work OK.
