I am P-O'd at FEDEX!!! Besides that, I was wondering if anyone else has trouble with them delivering packages.
A package that arrived Friday morning (11-12) in Gulfport still isn't here....not only that, but it says today that it was delivered at 5:41pm and signed for by "GW" and you guessed it....it's not here. I have no idea whose initials GW are...
I called the customer service number. Michael said they will put in a call to see if they can find it....call the local office at noon and see what they can tell me. Do you have the # of the local office here....no, he's like an answering machine with legs (well, that my interpretation)... I look in the phone book....no local number listed....can't find it on the website....just the location address......what do I do now?

Yes, it's up to the carrier on that route as to timelyness I hear. I waited 2 weeks or longer for an item in the US. That's slow. Call and complain to the shipper unless you're the shipper. Then call Fed Ex

You might try checking with the neighbors. Last week we had a FedEx package delivered to another house six houses down (1/4 mile) from the actual address. Fortunately, the families knew each other. I know there was someone home at the correct address as it was my DW and she happened to see the truck drive by that day. She only flies with a carry-on bag and we ship the extra FedEx because it is "safer".
It seems FedEx drivers have picked up the bad UPS habits. We quit using UPS because they consistently left packages at wrong addresses.
