Ask HARRY corner...

Question
For those of you who are not familiar with Harry, he is the President of Endicia and posts quite frequently on many boards. He will be along shortly to introduce himself but ask away if you have any Endicia related questions.

Answer
Hi there,

I use xxxxx.com and am happy with them. But, I am always looking for a better mousetrap. What would make me happier with Endicia??
The things I love about xxxxxx.com: steath postage, the ability to print net stamps for media mail without having to use DC, the ability to print international postage via net stamps, one click refunds (at least for labels - I make boo boos), and postage logs indexed by source (i.e. eBay and Alibris).

TIA,
Beth

Answer
Iron Chick, I don't think you're supposed to talk about stamps.com in this forum. Or maybe I still haven't gotten it.

Answer
Oops. I edited that part out.
But I really am curious what the difference is between the two . . . and how endicia could make me happier and skinnier.
OK, maybe just happier.

Answer
nevermind.

Hi Beth, I'm sure Dr. Harry will be able to answer your question much better than I, but Endicia does all of the things you mention, except, I'm not for sure about indexing by source (maybe they can). They also have a Reprint button that allows you to reprint the postage a second time, therefore eliminating the one click refund for boo boos. And you can purchase insurance from USPS, U-Pic or Endicia directly from their site. I believe they have a 30 day trial.

Answer
One of the things I've heard is that you can print customs forms on line with endicia. My shipping assistant (son) would be *all over* that one, because filling out the customs forms is *his* job and he hates it. We ship anywhere from 2 to 20 international packages a week, depending on how cool the current toy promotion is! It wouldn't save *me* time but I wouldn't have to listen to him gripe as much.

Answer
The customs forms are quick and easy. Momelie (Deb) loves that feature.

Answer
I'm curious how to mark my endicia insured packages ... if at all. Recently there's been rumblings by USPS about using the word 'insured' on non-USPS packages.

I've given Endicia 2 referrals in the past year, but have yet to receive my bonus. I've emailed about it several times without response. Both new clients have used Endicia for more than 6 months. Whazzup?
