Question
I use Paypal to print my eDC labels. It seems lately that a lot of the eDC are not being scanned at delivery. I use an orange highlighter to mark the eDC box. Any other suggestions
TIA

Mapledr uses a light green highlighter to mark the DC scan box. She worked for the USPS for years, so I trust her judgement on this.
When red or orange is scanned sometimes it shows up as black so possibly the orange is interfering with the scan somehow. Also, the green color is a lot less "in your face" than orange and also there are other green labels that postal employees are accustomed to keeping an eye out for, so that might help with compliance.
Also, make sure the bars aren't being smudged by the highlighting. If they are they will not scan correctly. This might happen with an inkjet printer - my Lexmark printer smears but the HP DeskJet 895 does not.

I highlight the box, not the bar code. I also highlight around the words eDC Delivery Confirmation because some of the mail goes Parcel Post, Media Mail or 1st Class.

Sounds as though you are doing about all you CAN do to get the pkgs scanned at delivery.
There's no guarantee anywhere on the USPS that the packages will be scanned, so it seems to me that we mostly just hope for the best.
I actually use it more to prove that I MAILED an item.
