Adelaide - Bloch

Question
Just wondering what the major stockist of Bloch (ballet dance wear) is in South Australia? Does anyone know?
Thanks

Answer
I know there's a store on Unley Road up in the little group of shops near the Red Cross store...I can't think of the name although from the outside, the shop looks like a Costume shop, but it has Dance costumes and dance wear...
I think I've seen a few pairs of Bloch shoes and other bits and pieces in there so maybe give that a try?

Answer
The 2 places with the biggest range in Adelaide are
Adelaide Dancers Botique
2/ 282 Gouger St Adelaide 5000 Ph: 8231 6229
and
The Stage Shop
3 Leigh St Adelaide 5000 Ph: 8231 9554
(This one is just off Hindley st)
I used to be a dancer and this was where I got all of my supplies. I wouldn't bother going anywhere other than these two shops, if you can't find what you want here then you're probably not going to get it in Adelaide!!

Answer
Do they have non-jiffy-like ballet flats?
They all seem very fragile for wearing outside ...

Answer
The Bloch shoes I have seen are all proper ballet shoes, with a soft sole. They're definately not for wearing outside.
I've never seen Bloch ballet shoes with a hard sole so I'm not sure that they're available. You could take them to a bootmaker and get the resoled. Although Bloch shoes are very tight fitting (as ballet shoes are supposed to be) and mould to the shape of your foot, I'm not sure how attractive they'd be to wear for everyday, I think you would need a little more structured ballet flat.
