what's everyone's fave camera?
bought a new one you love lately? (or know of a make you wouldn't rec?)
i want to buy a camera that's small enough it makes me want to put it in my bag and carry it everywhere...small, but still good looking pics....
can i get something decent for the $300-400 mark?

i think if ur looking for a small one then casios do the best ones i think, small and thin... real compact, i love the styles but i have a canon now and after owning a canon i think they r the best.... they take real good quality photos.... not as nice looking tho ...think both canons and casios r ard the 400 mark...

i have casio exilim.. the card style one. Luv it! Definitely small enough to put in the bag and take everywhere (which i dont ). Its actually smaller than my mobile phone!! well, slimmer anyway.
Happy with pic quality, takes great videos, too.

I second Canon IXUS - they're the best. Never had any problems. Except when I dropped it and cracked the screen...oops. It still takes photos though!

7.1mpx, 3x optical zoom, 3inch LCD touchscreen (love to touch), slim (3/4 of an inch thick) and light + facedetect. It takes the new HCSD (high capacity SD) cards, I picked up a 4gb card for $85.

got it for 450 from JB. love the look feel...at the moment im lazily pointing and shooting but cant wait to get into all the features.
