my partner and i are going to melbourne at the end of may
so i was wondering where the best shopping places are??
we are staying downtown near the casino.
in particular where would be a good place to check out good
quality leather garments??

Go to Chadstone, dubbed 'The Fashion Capital'. Huge place, you'll love it!

Collins Street and Crown Casino for designer labels
Bourke Street/Melbourne Central for CK, Cue, Veronica Maine, Marcs etc.
GPO (corner Elizabeth and Bourke Streets) and QV (corner Swanston and Lonsdale Streets) for Australian labels
Chadstone's great too, but it might be a tad far by train for you (if you're planning to shop in the city alone)
