Has anybody purchased health insurance for visitors from India with
travelguard? They have a program called Wordwide Health
for that.
Any feedback/experiences about travelguard insurance would be greatly appreciated.

TravelGuard Worldwide Health is identical to Atlas America from MultiNational Underwriters plan that we have.
(MultiNational Underwriters was acquired by TravelGuard couple of years ago.)
When purchased exclusively through us, BuyAmericanInsurance.com, Atlas America is extendable in multiples of days (min. 1 day at a time), if purchased minimum for 7 days.
Also in case of early departure, you can get a refund for unused portion minus $25 cancellation fee, as long as there is no claim.

My parents are traveling to US for 125 days in May05. Father's age is 66 and mother's is 59. I am keen to know the best(read: cheap and effective) insurance cover possible for covers of $25k/person and $50k/person.

There are 2 types of plans:
Fixed Coverage: Cheaper, limited coverage. Look at http://www.buyamericaninsurance.com/...?section=fixed
Example: Visitors Care at http://www.buyamericaninsurance.com/...e/brochure.jsp This is the only plan that provides $25K that you are asking for.
Comprehensive Coverage: More expensive, better coverage. Look at

There is no plan that is cheapest in price and best in coverage at the same time.
