Question
If i take inbound insurance or any other fixed plan ... and say my parents need to go to the emergency room for e.g there is an accident ... how should i find out how much benefit will i get from the insurance (how much maximum bill will they pay) ????. this will not be an pre existing situation,
Answer
If you have purchased $50,000 insurance, it will pay $300 for emergency room visit.
If you have purchased $100,000 insurance, it will pay $500 for emergency room visit.
However, if you get hospitalized, it will pay $1275/day for $50K coverage (or $1750/day for $100K coverage) for hospital room/board and $3000 for $50K ($5000 for $100K) coverage.
Answer
is inbound adequate if i am planning to cover only emergencies like an accident etc...
Answer
It may not be enough. If you visit an emergency room, it will pay $300 only ($500 for $100K).
If emergency room costs to $2000 or $3000, it will still pay $300.
If you need surgery, it will pay only $3000. That surgery may be needed because of accident also.
