Help Needed to buy Insurance

Question
Hi All,
My in-laws are coming to US. Both are diabetic patients. I want to select best insurance for them. I am a novice in choosing insurance. I read somewhere that pre existing conditions are excluded. So, for people like my in-laws what insurance should we buy if we want to cover everythinh including diabetes.
Please Help.
Thanks
-Sandya

Answer
Unfortunately, no insurance product exists from any company anywhere that would cover pre-existing conditions such as diabetes for visitors to US.
Please read http://www.buyamericaninsurance.com/...-insurance.jsp detailed information.

Answer
HI Narendra,
So, what will happen if they get sick like having elevated sugar levels or something related diabetes. Then what will be our options??Do we need to spend from our pocket apart from paying the insurance??
Thanks
Sandya

Answer
Yes, you will have to pay yourself. No other options.
Did you get a chance to entriely read http://www.buyamericaninsurance.com/...-insurance.jsp ?

Answer
Hi Narendra,
I read the FAQ in that URL posted by you. Its ridiculus that no insurance covers pre existing conditions. So, if at all anything happens related to so called preexisting conditions, we have to bear the whole expenses even we have insurance. Am I right??

Answer
Insurance is for your future protection and NOT for pre-existing conditions.
Therefore, if there are any expenses related to pre-existing conditions, you have to bear all the expenses yourself.
Even if you are US citizen and want regular domestic individual insurance (not group insurance through employer) and if you have diabetes, most insurance companies will not give you insurance at all, even for accidents. You will simply be declined. At least, visitors are getting insurance for new conditions.

Answer
Hi All
I heared from my colleage that her mother is daiabetic since long time and she was in US on visiting visa around 2 years back and they had to take her to emergency couple of times on diabetic reasons. Her insurance covered all the expenses. She said they took United India insurance and office is in Bashirbagh, Hyd. You may want to try that and see...

Answer
There is no company anywhere that would cover pre-existing conditions.
I have read their policy wording and they exclude pre-existing conditions as well.
Therefore, stop spreading rumors and misleading people by doing false advertising.
