Expatriot Plus Vs Patriot America

Question
Between these two, it seems to me Expatriot Plus has a higher coverage (upto $1000,000). Also, their coverage for $500,000 seems to be of almost equal cost to the $100,000 of Patriot America.
Is there any reason why I shouldn't choose Expatriot Plus over Patriot America, in case I'm buying insurance for 3+ months?
best regards.

Answer
Patriot America and ExPatriot Plus provide exactly same coverage.
ExPatriot Plus is available for minimum of 3 months and is available for minimum of $500,000 and $1,000,000. It can be renewed in multiples of months (1 month, 2 months, 3 months...)
(for ages 70-79, ExPatriot Plus is only $50,000)
Patriot America is available anywhere from 5 days to 1 year. It is not renewable. It is available for $50,000, $100,000, $500,000 and $1,000,000.
Coverage for $500,000 in Patriot America and ExPatriot Plus are same.
And for a given age and given policy maximum, ExPatriot Plus is 10% cheaper compared to Patriot America.
Therefore, you would buy Patriot America if you wanted to buy lesser policy maximum ($50,000, $100,000) or if you wanted to buy in terms of days (such as 12 days, 3 months 8 days etc.)
If you want to buy minimum $500,000 and min. 3 months, you should always buy ExPatriot Plus over Patriot America.
